21.15. Ten aircraft, five from each flight took off at intervals,
and with twelve aircraft from HONINGTON, and ten from 38 Squadron attacked
the enemies communications in the GUISE-CAMBRAI-HIRSON area.
Casualties.
P/O. MORRIS and F/S. MOORES
(Wellington Mk Ic H.P.9298 KO-F - no survivors) failed to return.
F/O. GIBBES gunner, P/O. HOGG and A.C. MOIR slightly wounded by shell splinters.
(F/O. GIBBES's aircraft was hit in front and rear turrets by A.A., and both gunners wounded, but not seriously, by shrapnel.)
