(Netherlands) Docks were hit, causing large fires. 7 aircraft dropped 21 500 GP, NDT, 7 500 GP delay and 900 4lb incend, bombs. All aircraft hit target, many fires being started. No casualties suffered by our A/C. The weather was generally good over the area. |

The C.-in-C., and A.O.C. arrived at 1730. hrs., H.M. The KING arrived at 1845. hrs. |
During the tour on inspection H.M. The KING visited Station Operation Room and Intelligence Sections and watched the briefing of crews at Both Station and No. 115 Squadron Crew Room, immediately prior to Operations. |
Visits were also made at Watch Office and Flare Path. |
H.M. The KING dined with the Officers in Officers Mess and visited the Sergeants Mess where Senior N.C.O., Technical Staff were present. |
H.M. The KING afterwards returned to Station Head quarters to meet the Crews returning from Operations. |

All aircraft returned safely to Base after Operations. 7 aircraft attacked their primary target, 2 attacked the last resort target, and 2 aircraft, owing to bad visibility, did not attack. Bombs were brought back. The attacking aircraft bombed target successfully. Large fires and explosions. Weather good, although temperature low,-20 dgrs. No casualties were suffered by our aircraft. |
