|Cross country exercise and fuel consumption test.
Crashed at 1203 at Carol House Farm, near Swaffham, Norfolk. Subsequent Board of Enquiry ascertained that the aircraft suffered starboard engine failure in flight as a result of mishandeling by the pilot and was unable to maintain Height.
Sgt Dutton and crew had survived a few days previosly the disastrous attack on Berlin, 4 November 1941.
