15/16 November, 49 Wellingtons were sent to bomb Emden, while another 47 aircraft attacked Kiel. On the Emden operation four Willingtons were lost.

P/O Stock, 115 Squadron ditched in the sea off Whitby, he and his crew were rescued by a destroyer crewed by Norwegian sailors.
